Melanie, a Florida native, was born in Tampa and raised in Zephyrhills. She attended the University of Florida (Go Gators) where she obtained her Associates Degree in Anthropology.
Melanie was the owner/operator of a Tampa flower shop for ten years. Melanie’s work day is divided between heading the church office, teaching a morning class at the academy and assisting Pastor Fred with his National Mission Board duties.
Melanie and her husband, Don, have been married over 10 years. They have two wonderful children, a son and a daughter. Melanie has a knack for making a little bit go a long way and she loves to decorate. In her spare time, she serves as Den Leader for her son’s Cub Scout troop.
